Setting goals like, ‘I want to be healthy’, or “I want to be fit’ or ‘I want more energy’ will never happen. Because how will you know when you’re fit, or healthy? There’s no way to connect the dots, check to see if you’re on track or a way to course-correct when off track.
The only way to be successful is to set tangible goals; goals that are specific, not vague.
ie: I am going to sleep 7 hours a night 6/7 days a week so I can be well-rested and energetic.
This type of goal gives us a daily focus, weekly outcomes and it can relate to a larger monthly goal or end goal of being healthy or more energetic. It also allows us to set specific actions to overcome plateaus, roadblocks, and setbacks.
